JUNIOR ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 5th - 6th Grade]
Ready for adventure? This is it! Campers completing 5th-6th grades stay in the first summer hogan area to enjoy traditional camp activities PLUS a tubing adventure down the Shenandoah River and an extended Low Ropes Course experience!

JUNIOR HIGH CAMP [Completed 6th - 8th Grade]
In addition to our traditional program, special options for this camp include campers’ choice activities (archery, canoeing, cooking, crafts, nature, etc.), cookouts, campouts, the low and high ropes challenge course, and more! In addition to their regular high ropes experience, campers will have the chance to climb all sides of the climbing tower and try out the climbing elements. Jr. High Campers stay in our summer hogans.

PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 6th - 8th Grade]
Pioneer Adventure Camps feature extended time learning wilderness and outdoor living skills as a participant in the Pioneer Program. Pioneers enjoy many of camp’s traditional activities, including the low and high ropes challenge course, have the chance for an overnight hike, and experience one featured adventure (see below). Pioneer Adventure Campers stay in one of our summer hogan areas.
Adventure Experiences:
Canoeing (June 15-20)
This adventure option features a day-long canoe trip. Perfect for anyone who enjoys paddling down the river!
Hiking (June 15-20)
The highlight of this adventure option is an 6 mile hike where you will get to backpack and explore nature!
Horseback Riding (July 13-18)
Pick this adventure to enjoy an afternoon of horseback riding at Camp Horizons
Climbing (July13-18)
This adventure includes open face rock climbing.

MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 8th - 12th Grade]
Pack your bags! This camp is hitting the road and heading to North Carolina for a week-long traveling adventure! Our camp’s group will meet up with other Church of the Brethren campers from Pennsylvania to Florida for a week of adventures at Camp Carmel! While in North Carolina, campers will enjoy a natural water slide, a mountain peak hike, and other outdoor adventures!

SUPER PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 8th - 12th Grade]
Ready for the next level?! This camp is for youth who are ready for a week of living and learning outdoors. Campers learn outdoor living and minimal impact camping skills as they cookout each meal, spend every night in tents or under the stars, and participate in overnight backpacking and canoe trips. Daily Bible studies, leadership development, low and high ropes challenge course experiences, swimming, and work on the Pioneer Program complete the week.

2025 SUPER PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP DATES:

*Camp rates are for one person and include a camp group photo and T-shirt. The final program cost is determined by the date postmarked on the registration form (see chart). Brethren Woods encourages churches to provide financial support for campers. To receive this support, your pastor or camp representative must complete the church support box on the registration form, clearly indicating the specific amount of support. Churches will be billed at the end of the summer.
