Camp Representative Training and Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
As we enter 2023, we are grateful for the important role you share in the ministry at Brethren Woods. THANK YOU! You are a valuable part of the team at camp and also serve as a crucial link between us and the children, youth, and adults in your church and community.
2022 has been a year of transitions and growth for Brethren Woods. Linetta Alley started as the new director, and Pieter Tramper moved into the role of Program Director. Pieter also welcomed twins into the world in August, and moved into the new house camp purchased for camp housing. Now that we are settling in, it’s time for 2023! We are excited to share with you about everything and want to help you get ready!
Please accept our invitation to attend our Camp Rep Training & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on Saturday, January 28th. The event will include two sessions, both held at camp in the Pine Grove assembly building.
Starting at 3:30pm we’ll have a training session for pastors, camp representatives, and others who want to learn more about what’s happening at camp and how they can be involved. All are welcome! The session will include a look at the role of camp reps, ideas for promoting camp in your church and community, including recruiting campers, staff, and volunteers, and a preview of 2023 events and activities scheduled at camp.
Then, starting with appetizers at 5:00pm and dinner at 5:30pm, we’ll have our volunteer appreciation dinner for all those who served in 2022 and some who are already on board for 2023! We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner, entertainment, and a chance to say thanks to our loyal and committed volunteers! We anticipate ending by about 7:00pm.
