MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 7th - 10th Grade]

Pack your bags! This camp is hitting the road and heading to North Carolina for a week-long traveling adventure! Our camp’s group will meet up with other Church of the Brethren campers from Pennsylvania to Florida for a week of adventures at Camp Carmel! While in North Carolina, campers will enjoy a natural water slide, a mountain peak hike, and other outdoor adventures!

A final go/no-go decision for this camp will be made by June 25th based on the current camp, state, and travel guidelines available. If the camp must be cancelled, registered campers will be able to transfer to another age-appropriate camp program.)

SENIOR HIGH CAMP  (Completed 9th - 12th Grade)

It’s a week of “choose your own adventure” for senior high youth! Campers enjoy daily Bible study and swimming. They also get to choose two off-site activities like caving, river tubing, rock-climbing, and canoeing or on-site opportunities to help lead nature, crafts, or Bible study. Evenings include the chance for fellowship through later nights, a coffee house, and a group overnight hike option. Campers sleep in our Walnut Creek cabins and eat most of their meals in the dining hall with a few cookouts.

SENIOR HIGH PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 9th - 12th Grade]

This new camp gives high school campers the chance to learn and practice wilderness and outdoor living skills as new or returning participants in the Pioneer Program. Campers will have low and high ropes challenge course experiences, Bible study, swimming, and head off-site for a 2-day overnight adventure in WVA to go caving and rock climbing! To add to the adventure, campers will have at least one cookout/packout each day and have the option of additional campouts in hammocks, tents, or tarps; in addition to staying in our Walnut Creek cabins.

2022 SENIOR HIGH PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP DATE:

SUPER PIONEER ADVENTURE CAMP [Completed 9th - 12th Grade]

Ready for the next level?! This camp is for youth who are ready for a week of living and learning outdoors. Campers learn outdoor living and minimal impact camping skills as they cookout each meal, spend every night in tents or under the stars, and participate in overnight backpacking and canoe trips. Daily Bible studies, leadership development, low and high ropes challenge course experiences, swimming, and work on the Pioneer Program complete the week.

*Camp rates are for one person and include a camp group photo and T-shirt.  The final program cost is determined by the date postmarked on the registration form (see chart).  Brethren Woods encourages churches to provide financial support for campers. To receive this support, your pastor or camp representative must complete the church support box on the registration form, clearly indicating the specific amount of support.  Churches will be billed at the end of the summer.
