Big and Small

Grandparents, parents, aunt/uncles, and other “bigs” are invited to register with a child (“small”) in Kindergarten-5th Grade for a fun overnight retreat.

Our theme will be “Jonah and God’s Big Love.”  We’ll use this “fishy” story from the Bible to discover how much God loves us - and everyone - with a great, big love!   During our time together, we’ll explore this theme through games, Bible study, songs, crafts, fishing and canoeing, stories, nature exploration, and more!  We'll even have a campfire with s'mores and banana boats! Most activities will happen together as a group, working as “big” and “small” pairs, but we’ll also have some time for “bigs” to get a little break while the “smalls” do some kid-friendly activities together with our staff.

Pairs can arrive anytime after 5pm on Friday, September 27th with supper served at about 5:45pm.  Our time together ends about 4pm on Saturday, September 28th.  The $85 registration fee covers three delicious and healthy meals, overnight accommodations, retreat leadership, and all supplies.
