Spring Festival 2026

Brethren Woods is excited to announce Festival will be held at camp on Saturday, April 25th!  This is a day filled with fun, fellowship, and lots of ways to support camp’s ministry!  Don’t miss all the Spring Festival classics including the trout fishing contest, yard sale, pancake breakfast, Hike-a-Thon, hay rides, petting zoo, zip line rides, pedal boat rides, Dunk the Dunkard booth, activities for all ages (like games, crafts, treats, emergency vehicles, mini golf, and more!), Kiss the Cow, the auction, and (of course!) lots of delicious food!  Plus, enjoy new activities like the climbing tower and an inflatable bounce house and obstacle course.

Donations Needed for Yard Sale (7am-12pm) and Auction (11:45am-2pm)

It’s time for some spring cleaning and donating quality, gently used Yard Sale items that someone else would be happy to use! We’re also looking for comforters, crafts, theme baskets, collectables, artwork, wall hangings, cars, wooden toys, homemade items, quilts, woodworking projects, antiques, and other specialty items for the Auction. Yard Sale and Auction items can be dropped off at camp starting April 21st. Stop by the office 8:30-4:30 (or till 8:00 pm on Thursday & Friday).

Hike-a-Thon

Scavenger Hunt All Morning

Get sponsors ahead of time (use the form on the back), check in, and complete 10 laps around Cherry Hill, or hike on camp’s trails (approx. 3 miles). Explore camp via a scavenger hunt, New for 2026! Minimum amount raised for either option is $25. The top money raiser will receive a gift certificate for a free Summer Camp program or weekend in the A-Frame! All hikers that complete the course will be entered into a Camp Store prize drawing. More places found on your scavenger hunt, more entries into the drawing!

Minimum age for Climbing Tower, High Ropes, and Zipline is 11. Participants must have closed-toed shoes and a signed waiver.

Dunk the Dunkard

9am-11:30am

The dunk tank will be back reminding us to the Brethren nickname “Dunkards,” which stems from our full immersion baptisms! Be ready to get some “willing volunteers” wet! $150 minimum donation for each of the ten 15-minute slots. Off-site dunking and “bucket challenges” at your church are also encouraged if you can’t make it to join us at camp. Prizes will be awarded for the most money raised for an on-site dunker and an off-site dunker. Everyone who participates by April 25th will be included in a drawing for a Camp Store prize. Let's make a splash!

Kiss the Cow

11:30-11:45

Miss Moo is back and we’re looking for volunteers who are ready to pucker up! $150 minimum donation for this moooving experience for your church’s nominee. The top money raiser will receive a free weekend in the Forest Haven A-Frame or a free Summer Camp program. Every kisser will be entered in a drawing for a Camp Store prize.

Auction

11:45am-2pm

We’re looking for comforters, crafts, theme baskets, collectables, artwork, wall hangings, cars, wooden toys, homemade items, quilts, woodworking projects, antiques, and other specialty items for the Auction. Climbing Tower, High Ropes & Zip Line

9:30am-12:30pm

Take to the tower and climb! Tickets are available for purchase day of and they will provide you with plenty of opportunity to stretch your muscles and try to make it to the top of the tower or to get across the high ropes course. Minimum age for climbing tower, high ropes, and zipline is 12 years old. Participants must have closed toed shoes and a signed waiver which can be found at the button below.
