Our Rental Facilities
These different rental facility catergories can help you decide what best serves your group, or maybe a whole camp rental meets your needs- if so reach out to see about availability!
Woodland Retreat Center
Self-contained, winterized retreat for 20–28 people, with additional camp lodging available for larger groups complete with a large meeting area and commercial kitchen.
Pine Grove
A Self-contained, fully winterized, large meeting facility for up to 200 people.
Spacious dining & meeting area with wood fireplace, stage, commercial kitchen, large deck.
Meeting Spaces
These spaces can be just what your small group needs for a day rental for planning or as a set apart place during a bigger event!
Seasonal Rental Cabins
Our Seasonal Cabins are great for small groups, families and more! These are best used during the late Spring-Mid Fall.

Retreat Cabins
Our Retreat Cabins provide comfort year-round for groups of all types! Each of Mill Creek and Linville Creek cabins and the A-frame sleeps 16 people!
What Can We Do at Brethren Woods?
Brethren Woods offers numerous recreational and educational opportunities. Below is a partial listing of what you can do while you're here. While some activities require advance reservations and fees, other activities allow you to do as you please, when you please. Balls and other game equipment are kept in Mountain Lodge. Though you are welcome to use this equipment recognize other rental groups may have the same idea. Rule of thumb goes like this: If you're depending on it, bring it.
Outdoor Activities
Basketball, Volleyball, FourSquare, Baseball, Ping Pong, Frisbee, Softball, Picnics, Tenting, Campfires, Hiking, Soccer
Water Activities
- Canoeing on our pond(swimming isnt allowed),
- Fishing on the pond(catch and release only, please use barbless hooks),
- Swimming at the Pool(available betwwen Memorial Day and Laborday)
Challenge Course
Our trained facilitators can lead your group in challenging activiites designed to help foster conflict resolution, communication and teamwork skills.

Other Adventures
If your group would like to design an adventure for your participants whether it be a guided hike, archery, tubing on the Shenandoah or a River Canoeing trip, we would love to work with you on developing a plan! Contact our program director to begin planning your adventure!
